A Lesson in Crawling

My daring little daughter
Lifted proudly her forhead.
Then her shoulders and her bottom
I watched her slightly worried.

She looked ahead determined
To proceed the test.
Her back was slowly curving
And she rose her chest.

She took up finally her hand
And tried to move ahead.
But balance badly bent
And she fell instead.

My pretty little hero
Needed consolations.
All success is near
If you act with patience.
