Sleep Well You Little Kids

  Poetry » Civilian
1062 1 2

In the clutches of uncertain world,
With tears shedding from your lids,
In ages humans bow to gold,
Sleep well you little kids!

Perhaps you didn't reach the coast,
Or your house turned into tomb,
Chased and hurt, killed or lost,
Sleep calm in Gaya’s womb!

And if you play here for a while
Give joy with love so sheer,
Sometimes the world deserves a smile,
But not deserve your fear.
