I dream simple

I dream for a quiet place -

where I can rest while mellow air refreshes my body and face 

and not be disturbed by humans loudly talking outside;

or by the unpleasantly loud garden machinery;

or by the neighbour stomping heavily on the floor;

or by the cars honking impatiently on the street;

or by the person drilling into the wall;

or by the construction work happening outside;

this all rises inevitable anger in me and oh boy

I just dream for a quiet place to sleep where my rest will finally be deep.

I would gladly trade the city noise for the sounds of wildlife living -

bird singing, frogs mating, insects buzzing, wind blowing, rain dropping,leaves falling, thunderstorming

and just creatures being.

But above all, very deep within I wholeheartedly dream about -

eternal silence sleep.
