Sleeping song

   'Hush, hush, sweetie!
Mama's there for you...'
Whispered the woman
to her beloved son.

   'Sleep, sleep, sweetie!
Close your eyes and dream.
I am here to guard you;
you're my everything!'

She gently stroke his brown hair
and hugged her little son.
The kid rested head on her chest,
still listening the song.

   She continued to singing:
'...my beloved one...'
And lightly his forehead kissed:
'Sleep sweet, mon chouchou!'

   Then the tired woman
fell asleep as well.
I watched them by the corner-
wax statue on the shelf...
