Ruins long ago left behind

When first I saw them,

they reminded me of the forgotten past.

Deep in myself I knew it wouldn't last

because time forgives no one.

It's seemed like they were here to stay

for more couple of years before perish

And their history to be vanished.

What's that supposed to mean?

For some it was unopened book

And lost desire,

аn unchased dream, аn extinguished fire

Feeling unknown for your soul awakened

when you saw the ruins made of stone

For a moment I wished to turn away,

so my eyes be unable to see the tragedy

And at the same time I wished to stay.

As I stand before the ruins

I have realized that I am the one

who will soon fade away

along with my memories

And a dream of the ancient wind to feel.
