The Queens Return

The Queen is coming home today,

it's already the twelfth of May.

I feel her passing every mile,

frown slowly turns into a smile.

I no longer have to wait,

being grateful to the fate,

behind each frown - a smile lurks.

Emotions bright like fireworks.

For every eye - a sweet delight.

I'm sure she'll be a stunning sight,

a masterpiece to be adored.

Her heart - a peaceful guarded fort.

I'll set up siege around that keep,

until I thrive I will not sleep.

I'm not religious, but last night I prayed.

My Queen is coming home today.
