What happened when you left
The world is now different.
You are gone, I'm alone with my self-destructive thoughts again.
Even the weather's different.
The sun stopped shining.
You- the child of the Sun- are now gone, D.
And I'm so deficient in vitamin D.
You were the sunshine to my darkest days,
The toughness to my never ending softness,
The air to my suffocating body.
I pray every day for better days to come even though I believe there aren't such.
I've been waiting for you to call even though I know it's better for me to ignore every thought of you.
You see
That's what I mean when I say I'm self-destructive
Cause deep down I know you are no good for me
But I still try to find the goodness in you.
