and tonight I’m gonna leave you alone

saying ‘goodbye’ and meeting the dawn

 

I lock the doors and I don’t look behind

the key to my heart you will never find

 

i’m carrying it with me, inside myself

right up on the left, on the top shelf

 

my soul is in pain and the road is all black

but I’m not afraid, I’ve got my heart back
