Unlove me! As my white and pallid skin
is paperback of ugly stories scribbled.
And heavy is the envelope. Within
you get to know the cost and worth of people.
Beneath my lashes, ghosts are digging deeper...
Unlove me, as I shall not keep them hidden
while in my bed, with all my insides weeping
I now embrace dejection's final bidding.
My freezing nights keep stormy groans imprisoned
while "now" and "then" come fighting every evening.
Unlove me as I yet have not arisen
against the woman keeping me in grieving.
And when I get her crown upon my head
you'll catch a sight of me to love instead.
